Kiev Parties: Unforgettable Birthday Party

Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, used to be one of the best destinations for nightlife, especially for young gentlemen, due to its truly crazy nightlife scene, beautiful Ukrainian girls, and the historical charm of the city. Unfortunately, right now, it’s not safe to travel anymore due to the Russian-Ukraine war, which is still ongoing. Hopefully, the war will finish, and we can go again since I have missed my memories there. This is just an update of my story from 2016, and I hope this birthday party will let you remember your memories too. Let’s start.

My friend and I decided to go to Kiev for his birthday party. It was a lot of fun, and I would love to share our experiences with you guys for your future reference. When we arrived in Kiev, we went to the passport check. The officer was serious this time and asked us a few questions, such as “where we would stay in Kiev?” and “how long we were planning to stay?” They were regular questions, but for the first time, they asked to see my hotel reservation and return ticket. I showed them properly, and we were finally in Kiev. We took a taxi, but there is a bus running to the center of Kiev from the airport, which is cheaper than a taxi.

My friend and I don’t speak Ukrainian or Russian, but in Kiev, it will not be a big problem. I have been here twice before, and I didn’t have any substantial problems. Around 10:00 PM, we were in our hotel that I had already booked. If you want to be closer to the Kiev nightlife and tourist spots, you should book your hotel around Maidan Square, which is the heart of the city. The first day, we weren’t eager to join the nightlife in Kiev. We preferred to take a long rest for our two days of casual nightlife. Tomorrow will be the party day as it’s Damien’s birthday.

After a shower, we lay on our beds and fell asleep. We woke up around 10:00 AM to have breakfast. I took him to the tourist spots that needed to be seen in Kiev. Around 4:00 PM, our walking trip through Kiev was over, and we were quite hungry. We jumped into the McDonald’s at Maidan Square. There are a lot of fast-food chains and à la carte restaurants along Maidan Square. Also, nice cafes, restaurants, and pubs are located in the same place. We headed back to the hotel to get ready for the Kiev parties.

It was around 11:00 PM when we woke up and quickly got ready for clubbing and partying. If you already visited Kiev before, you may have idea how crazy the Kiev parties are! We should be in a nightclub before it gets 12:00 AM. Finally, we took a taxi to the location called “Arena City,” where most of the nightclubs, bars, and spritz clubs are located in Kiev.

You have many options here, such as Spritz Club, Dance Club, Karaoke Bars, and Nightclubs. We jumped into Sky Bar. After a strict dress control, we were finally inside, but I saw many guys were not allowed because of dressing. So be careful when you are clubbing in Kiev. Even if you have a reservation, they will pay you back and not let you in.

I ordered a bottle of Jack Daniels for the table. We paid around $120 both for the table and Jack. A birthday party without a girl would be nonsense, especially when you are in Kiev. The atmosphere was good, and the music was bustling, but the problem was the nightclub was still empty even though it was around 1:30 AM.

I still had hope that the nightclub would be full of beautiful Ukrainian girls. After around 15 minutes of waiting longer, we were almost leaving Sky Bar to go to the Vodka Bar, where they said it would be full of beautiful Ukrainian girls. But finally, the nightclub started to get busy, and we stayed in Sky Bar. What a chance! Two blondes were staring at us. We politely invited them to our table with mimics and gestures.

They didn’t come, but they were still watching us. After 10 minutes, they started dancing, and we went to join them. They didn’t refuse, and we started dancing. While dancing, we had a chance to introduce ourselves. When dancing finished, they asked to drink something with us at our table. It was done, and I was so happy that both of us would be having fun tonight. We arrived at our table and started a long conversation. Suddenly, they said they wanted to leave.

It was around 4:00 AM, and we were also tired. We wished to save our energy for the rest of the day. I offered them to continue in the hotel with a nice homemade wine. They first hesitated and then accepted with smiling mimics. But we had a problem; we booked only one room. Damien called the hotel and asked for another room. Luckily, they had another room available, and we booked it. We arrived at the hotel to my room and started drinking wine. Everyone was really drunk, and around 5:30 AM, Damien took his lady to his room, and I was alone with my beautiful partner.

We woke up around 3:00 PM and had a really good day with these ladies. They showed us more places, and we went to another secret nightclub only known by locals. I forget the name, but it was really not discovered by foreigners and full of real Ukrainian ladies. The same scenario happened on our second day, and finally, we headed to the airport after an unforgettable two nights in Kiev.

Hopefully, next time we will arrange for Lviv for party. If you are asking, “How much did two days cost us in Kiev?” Together with the hotel and flight, it was around $400 each. But we had a wonderful two days. I hope you enjoyed our party in Kiev.
