Alcohol in Dubai

Alcohol in Dubai is only available at duty-free shops at the airport and select licensed shops in Dubai’s city center. These shops employ a tracking system that sets limits on your monthly consumption. Yes, it’s true; in Dubai, your alcohol allowance depends on your salary and other factors. The alcohol policy applies exclusively to non-Muslims and those with a valid working permit in Dubai. However, nightclubs have no restrictions on alcohol.

Muslims, even if they are expatriates from countries with Islam as the official religion, cannot purchase alcohol. Nevertheless, there are still ways to access alcohol in Dubai through illegal means. You can simply obtain it from taxi drivers, albeit at an additional cost. Alternatively, you may ask your non-Muslim friends to procure alcohol for you. In nightclubs, you are free to consume alcohol, even if you are Muslim.

Nightclubs & Bars in Dubai

Nightclubs are permitted only within hotel complexes or resorts in Dubai. This doesn’t mean you have to stay at a hotel to enjoy the nightlife; most of the nightclubs in Dubai welcome outside guests. Dubai’s nightclubs offer dizzying skyline views, perfect for sipping head-spinning cocktails under the starry sky along the coastline.

There are numerous pubs and bars in Dubai, each with its unique drink designs and music, catering to your preferences. You’ll encounter people of all nationalities in Dubai’s nightclubs, and you might be surprised to find more women in the clubs than men. Don’t hesitate to strike up conversations; it’s a safe environment, and no one will disturb you. Thursdays, Saturdays, and Fridays are typically the busiest nights. Most nightclubs have an entrance fee, often with a complimentary drink, although some special event nights may offer free entrance for ladies.

Prices of alcohol in Dubai nightclubs are considerably higher compared to most nightclubs worldwide. Dubai’s nightlife is permitted until 3:00 AM according to the country’s regulations. If you arrive around 10:00 PM, it’s more than enough time to enjoy the full extent of the fun and entertainment that Dubai offers. In addition to its vibrant nightlife, Dubai provides a wide range of tourist activities, including sandy beaches and water sports options, to make the most of your daytime hours.

Most of the hotels are in High standard as Dubai state really cares about the appearance and luxury of the city which simply means hotels in Dubai is totally about your budget. Things to do in Dubai are vary even though the entertainment events are artificial in all around. But you have too much selection of fun where you can find out from agencies when you arrive Dubai. Have fun…
